Pole dancing is a unique form of dance and fitness, you will strengthen and tone your body while unleashing your inner temptress. Mind, Body & Pole is a powerful expression of your true self. The instructor’s mission is to change the lives of women regardless of age, background, height or weight. This class will begin to make you feel empowered, confident and seductive as you develop your pole skills and sensual progressions in an encouraging, non-competitive fun and safe environment. Classes offered  at Blue Firmament holistic Center in Rockville Centre Long Island.

Introduction to Pole Dancing  No prior fitness classes or dance experience is necessary. The only requirement is an open mind and spirit.

Breaking Boundaries  This is the first signature series at Mind, Body & Pole. You began your journey into pole dancing and sensual movement, yet the desire to continue is present. We will continue on your adventure with the Breaking Boundaries Beginner Series. This class focuses on the basic pole and dance techniques, pole terminology, and learning how to listen to and trust your body as the love affair begins between your body and your movement. You will build strength and amazing confidence. Each class will bring you a new pole trick and a new dance transition, and your instructor will take you through a beautiful routine.

Stirrings- Pole Dancing and Beyond  Deepening your experience of pole dancing, sensual movement and community with like minded women. In this 8 week series you will continue to learn new pole tricks, dance transitions and progressions as you have begun to embrace this new way of moving an a sensual, beautiful flowing way- as your thinking and breathing has changed, having a little more confidence and standing up a little taller we will begin to incorporate Stiletto’s, Chair Dancing, Teasing and weekly class assignments.

 

PARTIES

Celebrating your birthday, bachelorette party, girls night out o any other occasion with a party Mind, Body & Pole will teach you some sexy moves, how to strut your stuff, spin around the pole and do hip circles all in a fun, non-judgemental environment with family and friends. You will be sure to impress your friends and have some unforgettable moments. Accommodations can be made for all size parties, regardless of age, size, or fitness level. Everyone will have a great time!

Mini Party (6 or less participants)

  • 60 minutes: $200
  • 90 minutes: $250

Party (7 – 12 participants)

  • 90 minutes: $300
  • 120 minutes: $350

*Each additional participant: $25

What does the package include?

The package includes the studio rental and the instructor. We do not supply you with food, drinks or party favors, but you are welcome to bring, we recommend you keep it simple and concentrate on the pole. you can drink and eat later.

How do I pay?

Full payment is due upon the time of booking. We require no less than 72 hours prior to start time for changes. Cancellations must be done no less than 72 hours. A full refund will be given if cancelled more than 7 days prior to party otherwise a 50% refund will be given. No Exceptions. 

Call or email the studio to ask about availability.

It is the responsibility of the participants to show up and be on time. Parties start and end at the scheduled times. The studio will not extend the time if the participants are late. All participants should allow enough time for travel and plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the party start time. 

Each participant must fully complete the paperwork, which includes a liability waiver to be admitted into the class. No one shall be admitted without filling out the paperwork.

Please make the studio aware of the additional participants at least 2 hours prior to the start time of the party. Each additional participant will be charged $25 to the credit card on file. Last minute participants, who are added to the roster within the 2 hours of the party will be charged $35. These participants may pay with a credit card or with cash. Gratuities are appreciated. 

 

FAQ

What should I wear?

Comfortable workout clothing, sweat or yoga pants. For upper level pole classes we recommend you wear shorts and a tank top/t-shirt, understanding that bare legs will grip the pole better and will be required for many spins and other moves. Footwear for the first few classes and all warm-up activities is barefoot and we will then gradually move into heels. There is no nudity.

Please do NOT use lotions or oils on your hands or legs the day of class.

It is best you do not wear any rings, bracelets or watches.

Please arrive in your workout clothes or be sure to arrive with sufficient time to change the scheduled class time. We are not able to hold class starting times while you change .

What should I bring?

Exercise or yoga mat, water, towel and an open mind and spirit.
